AI tools by job: hand-picked tools for your kind of work
There are thousands of AI tools, and most "top 100" lists won't tell you which one to actually try. Here we pick just a few per job, explain what each is good at and where it falls short, and check them every month. Choose your kind of work to start.

How we pick
- A few tools per job, not hundreds. We’d rather tell you which three to try than list everything that exists.
- Labels, not star ratings. Each tool gets a label such as “Best free option” or “Best for beginners”, and the card explains why. We don’t give scores we can’t back up.
- Checked against evidence. Features and prices come from each tool’s official pages, and we only pick tools that independent reviews and benchmarks also rate well.
- No paid placements. Tools can’t pay to be listed. If we ever use affiliate links, they’ll be clearly marked (see our disclosure).
- Kept current. AI tools change fast, so every card is rechecked every month and shows the date it was last checked.
